December, 2025: Literary Hub, the popular website for book lovers, includes Accidental Shepherd in its list of ‘100 Notable Small Press Books of 2025′ Reviewer Debra Gwartney writes, “The charm of this book is evidenced by the three people I lent it to once I’d finished reading. Two immediately ordered copies for friends, the other is seriously considering it.”

December, 2025: Library Journal includes Accidental Shepherd in its list of ‘Stellar Selections/Best Books 2025‘ According to the Journal, “These are the nearly 800 works they (the journal’s reviewers) judged as the best, most notable, significant, and important books of 2025.”

June, 2025: Liese and Norwegian television and film producer/director Christer Fasmer sign an option agreement granting Fasmer exclusive rights to investigate creating a movie based on Accidental Shepherd.
